Now Open in the Imperial Valley

I am so excited to share that our first health center in the Imperial Valley has opened! Finally opening our doors is a tremendous victory for the women and families in this region. Not to mention, it is a huge advancement in our mission: to provide the community with the reproductive health care they want and need.

Moms Rock!

Most moms are proud of their children on a daily basis, but Mother’s Day is around the corner (this Sunday) and it’s the perfect time to reflect on why we are proud of them. As an organization, Planned Parenthood is not only proud of all of the moms out there; we’re grateful for their inspiration. They have one of the most important jobs out there and their dedication motivates us to keep women and their families healthy.

We launched a social media campaign to support our new health center in Imperial Valley that opened this spring. Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest has worked long and hard to expand access to reproductive health care services in this region, but we continue to face vocal opposition.

The Girl Can’t Help It. The Unstoppable Lena Dunham.

Turns out, men and women who serve patients at Planned Parenthood are her real-life heroes. 

There’s so much to love about Lena Dunham, it’s tough to know where to start. The creator of the hit series “Girls” is a tireless champion for women. We really admire how she uses her platform to advocate for Planned Parenthood. Turns out, she thinks we’re pretty cool too.
